KozyKraft is a small, two-person sourdough company built around a single jar of wild starter we’ve been feeding for years.
It started as a hobby.
It changed our lives.
We got into sourdough the way most people do — out of curiosity, in a tiny apartment kitchen, with a jar of flour and water and a lot of hope. We didn’t expect much. We were just two friends who wanted to bake bread.
What we got was a quiet, sturdy ritual. A loaf at the end of the week. Better digestion. Cheaper bread that tasted like the bakeries we couldn’t afford. Slowly, sourdough crept into the way we ate, the way we cooked, the way we thought about food entirely.
Friends asked for jars. Friends of friends asked for jars. We started shipping hand-folded paper packets across the country — and then realized most starters out there were dying in transit or arriving so weak they took weeks to come back.
KozyKraft is what came next. A small, deliberate company built around one mother starter, one promise, and a single mission: share natural, fermented, real food with everyone who’ll have us. No cuts. No shortcuts. Just bread.
