Sourdough Starter
Wild-yeast sourdough starter, slow-dehydrated at low temperature the same day it's fed. Pick 1, 2, or 3 packets — your first loaf is bubbling in five to seven days.
Each 5g packet is enough to wake into a full mother starter that'll bake for years. The 3-pack is the same starter in three — one to start, two for the pantry or to gift.
What's in it
100% organic unbleached flour, filtered water, wild yeast cultures (Lactobacillus + Saccharomyces). That's it. No additives, no preservatives.
What's included
1× 5g packet of dehydrated sourdough starter

How long does it take to wake up?
Our dehydrated starters bubble in 5-7 days following the day-by-day guide. Live jars are ready to bake within 6-12 hours after a single feed.
How long does it stay shelf-stable?
Sealed dehydrated pouches last 12 months on a pantry shelf. The live jar should be refrigerated and fed weekly — it'll keep indefinitely once you're maintaining it.
What if my starter doesn't wake up?
Following our guide, fewer than 1% don't. If yours hasn't bubbled by day 7, send a photo through our contact form and we'll ship a fresh replacement at no cost.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes — anytime from your account or by emailing us. No fees, no questions. Pause for any length and resume when you're ready to bake again.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently only within the United States. We're working on Canada and Mexico — sign up for the newsletter to know when it goes live.

Two friends,
one kitchen.
We pack every packet by hand from a single jar of starter we’ve been feeding for years. No factories. No middlemen. Just two friends and the same wild yeast we use at home.
If your starter doesn’t bubble in 7 days, write to us. We’ll make it right.
